In a first of its kind, the current beauty pageant winner and the Miss world, Karolina Bielawska is scheduled to visit Kashmir on Monday.
As per the reliable sources, and the individuals behind the event, Ms Bielawska will arrive in Kashmir along with other pageant winners, including Miss World India Sini Shetty and Miss World Caribbean Emmy Pena.
Rouble Nagi, the chairperson of a Mumbai-based organisation organizing this event informed that they leave no stone unturned in paving way for artistic expression, community development, and cultural exchange, and the arrival of pageant winners in Kashmir is an step in this direction.
“This collaboration is yet another manifestation of the foundation’s commitment in creating memorable experiences that transcend boundaries,” she added.
While commenting on this, secretary tourism JK, Syed Abid Rashid said, “It’s an indication of the transformative nature of the G20 event in the tourism sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Major events of national and international importance are now being planned and organised,”
It is pertinent to mention here that the visit of these pageant winners to Kashmir comes ahead of 71st edition of the Miss World 2023 pageant, scheduled to happen in India this year.
