Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the provisional selection for APs in Functional English. The list can be downloaded from the official website of JKPSC.
The provisional selection list for the post of Assistant Professor (AP), Functional English, in Higher Education Department has been released by JKPSC today. The candidates can visit the official website of the commission at jkpsc.nic.in to download and check the complete list.
Pertinent to mention here that Higher Education Department had vide letter No. HE/Col/Coord/Appt/A.P./2021 dated 05.07.2021 and No. HED-GAZ/85/2022-04 dated 13.04.2022, referred Four (04) posts (OM: 02, RBA: 01, SC: 01) of Assistant Professor, Functional English, to the JK Public Service Commission, for selection of suitable candidates.
A written test was conducted and 21 candidates had qualified for the interview. After the viva voce, a selection list was prepared and published on the official website of JKPSC.
The two candidates who qualified in OM Category are:
- Javid Aziz Bhat from Khiram Srigufwara, and,
- Zeeshan Khushboo from Kangan.
The candidates need to know that the selection list is purely provisional and is subject to the outcome of writ petitions, if any before the court of law.
The notification issued by JKPSC reads that “Two posts, one each, under SC and RBA category remained unfilled as none of the candidates could cross the benchmark as envisaged in J&K Public Service Commission”.
