JKPSC AP,Urdu Selection List: Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the selection list for the post of Assistant Professor (AP), Urdu/ Literature, in Higher Education Department. The list can ne downloaded from the official website of JKPSC at jkpsc.nic.in.
The selection list for the post of Assistant Professors, Urdu, advertised vide Notification No. 06- PSC (DR-P) OF 2023 dated: 01.03.2023 and Notification No. 17- PSC (DR-P) OF 2023 dated: 15.05.2023, has been released today by JKPSC. The candidates who want to check the list can do so by following the steps given below:

- now click on the notification reading “selection list for AP, Urdu”.
- download the list and now check it.
The candidates need to know that the selection list is purely provisional and is subject to the outcome of writ petition, if any before the court of law.

It is pertinent to mention here that the written test for the above posts was conducted on 27/07/2023 and the result of the written test was declared vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2023/58 dated:05.10.2023. A total of 71 candidates had qualified for the interview for both the notifications.
The viva-voce of candidates was conducted on 12th and 13th of October, 2023, with the assistance of Experts from outside of the UT, and today the final selection list has been published by the commission.
The notification issued by the commission reads that “The Commission reserves the right to have certificates/documents of the candidates verified, if at any later stage found expedient ot do so. The Selection of the candidates is purely provisional and objections, if any, may be submited to the Commission within five days for examination and disposal. No claim, whatsoever, shal be entertained after five days from the date of issuance of Notification.”
