Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has postponed the prelims exam for JKAS 2023. The notification can be downloaded from the official website of JKPSC at jkpsc.nic.in.
The prelims exam for KAS 2023, that was scheduled on 24/09/2023 has been rescheduled to 15/10/2023.
The notification issued by JKPSC reads as “the I&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination-2023 shall now be held on 15-10-2023 (Sunday) in two sessions from 10:00 (A.M) to 12:00 (Noon) & 2:00 (P.M.) to 4:00 (P.M.)”.
The notification for downloading admit cards will be issued separately.
For the uninitiated, KAS exam is conducted by JKPSC to make recruitment for gazetted posts in administration, police and accounts department.
This year, the notification for JKAS was released on April,14,2023 and the last date for application was 30, June 2023.
