Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has disposed off many objections that it had received in response to the provisional answer key which it had published after conducting KAS Prelims test.
After considering the genuine objections, it has now released the updated answer key. The JKPSC KAS Prelims 2023 Updated Answer Key can be downloaded from the official website of JKPSC at jkpsc.nic.in.
It is pertinent to mention here that JKPSC had received a large number of representations against the provisional answer key published by it. The representations were referred to a committee of experts, which after considering the genuine representations recommended changes in the answer key.

The candidates can now download the updated answer key by following the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of JKPSC at jkpsc.nic.in.
- Now click on the link reading “updated answer key”.
- Download the updated answer key.
The notification issued by JKPSC reads as “ the marks allocated to the deleted questions shall be individually added to the marks secured by the individual candidates to ensure that the mark(s) allocated for the question paper as a whole remain unchanged , at the time of calculation/compilation of award sheet before the declaration of the result”
The commission has also released the JKPSC KAS Prelims 2023 Result, which can also be checked from the website.
