JKPSC Civil Judge Vacancies: Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has advertised 69 civil judge vacancies in subordinate judiciary. The eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the commission at jkpsc.nic.in.

JKPSC is inviting applications for filling up the posts of civil judges (junior division) from the eligible candidates. The applicants should be domiciled in JK and should fulfil all other eligibility criteria as discussed below.

Eligibility Criteria for Civil Judge posts by JKPSC

In order to apply for the civil judge posts advertised by JKPSC, the candidate must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  1. He/she must be domiciled in JK.
  2. He/she must have bachelors degree in law or an equivalent degree.
  3. His/her age as on 01, January,2023 should be more than 18 years and not more than 35 years.

The candidates need to know that the scheme of selection for the posts will be as follows:

How to apply

The candidates can apply only in online mode by visiting the official website of JKPSC at jkpsc.nic.in. No other mode of application will be allowed.

JKPSC Civil Judge Recruitment, Important Dates

The application process will begin on 27.08.2023. The candidates are advised to go through the instruction manual available on the website first. The last date for application is 17/09/2023.

The candidates can edit some fields in the application form from 18/09/2023 to 20/09/2023.

JKPSC Civil Judge Examination Date

As per the notification published by JKPSC, the preliminary examination will be conducted on 08/10/2023, and the mains exam will be conducted from 08/11/2023 to 19/11/2023.

Syllabus For Prelims Test

The Preliminary objective type/Screening test shall consist of two papers viz Paper-A & Paper-B of Objective type (Multiple Choice Question).

Each paper carries a maximum of 225 marks. The time allowed for each paper shall be two hours. The marks obtained in the Preliminary objective type/Screening test shall count only for short listing of the candidates for appearing in the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service (Judicial) Competitive (Main) Examination, 2018.
