Counselling of Candidates under PARVAAZ Scheme; Jammu and Kashmir government is going to conduct a counselling of candidates for free coaching for NEET/JEE and IAS/JKAS. The candidates can check the details by visiting the official website of Mission Youth JK.
J&K mission youth, Chief executive officer is giving a last chance for those candidates who have missed the counselling for free coaching under PARVAAZ scheme due to one or other reason. The candidates can now appear for verification from 17-10-2023 to 19-10-2023 at below-mentioned locations:

The notification issued by the Chief Executive Officer Mission Youth J&K reads as ”It is notified for the information of all the candidates who have missed their District-Level Physical Counselling/Document verification or have any other issues/queries for the NEET/JEE and IAS/JKAS coaching program under the PARVAAZ scheme are hereby given the last opportunity to get their documents verified from 17-10-2023 to 19-10-2023.”
The candidates need to know that no separate request for document verification will be considered after the stipulated time period.
It is pertinent to mention here that J&K mission youth is offering free coaching to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir under its PARVAAZ scheme. The coaching is offered for various courses like NEET/JEE and IAS/KAS exams and the candidates are selected through a written exam.
What is PARVAAZ scheme
PARVAAZ scheme is a scheme launched by the government of J&K under its Mission Youth Programme. It is a free coaching scheme for various exams conducted at the state and the union level. The exams include IAS, KAS, NEET and JEE.
Eligibility for PARVAAZ scheme
In order to apply for the coaching programme under PARVAAZ scheme, the applicant must fulfil the following eligibility criteria;
- The applicant’s annual family income should not exceed INR 8 lakh. The applicants whose family income exceeds INR 8 Lakh are not eligible for the coaching under this scheme.
- The applicant must be eligible for the exam for which he/she is seeking coaching.
- The application must have at least one remaining attempt to take any competitive examination that will be conducted in the upcoming year.
- The applicant must be a domicile of J&K UT.
The candidates need to know that 30% of all the seats are reserved for female candidates. If they fail to occupy the seats the same shall be transferred to male candidates.
Once the candidates are put through the screening test, they are then called for document verification/ counselling, where it is ensured that they meet all the eligibility criteria.
