Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board has released the syllabus for the posts of Forester and Social Forestry Worker. The syllabus can be downloaded by visiting the official website of JKSSB at jkssb.nic.in.
It is pertinent to mention here that JKSSB had advertised division cadre post of foresters (Forest, Ecology and Environment department) vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2022, and the posts of Social Forestry Worker (Forest, Ecology and Environment Department) vide Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2021 and 04 of 2022. Now the board has released the syllabus for the conduct of written test for these posts, and it is given below:

The syllabus for the forester posts in Forest, Ecology and Environment Department is given below;
The exam shall aim to evaluate the candidates for their scientific, analytical and numerical aptitude, and their general awareness over a broad range of subjects. Medium of examination shall be English.

| Section C | General Knowledge shall include knowledge of current events and matters of everyday observation and experience. The paper will also include questions on History and Geography, Indian Polity, Constitution of India, and general issues related to forests, wildlife, environment, biodiversity, and climate change. | 24 |
